Substance Abuse (BS)

The Substance Abuse (BS) program equips students with a deep understanding of the causes, effects, and treatments for substance abuse and addiction. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the median annual wage for substance abuse, behavioral disorder, and mental health counselors was approximately $53,710 in May 2023.

The program typically requires four years of full-time study to complete. However, students with prior coursework or relevant experience may accelerate their progress through transfer credits or competency-based assessments.
